Obituary of Anna M. Ewing

Anna "Ann" M. Ewing, age 87 of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 30, 2020 at Shipley Manor. Born to Joseph and Frances Scheivert Remm, and living most of her life in Lenni, PA, she resided the past 4 years in Wilmington DE. Ann had been a longtime secretary at the Village Green Senior Community in Aston, PA. She was a former member of St. Francis de Sales in Lenni, and had attended the Aston Senior Citizens Club. Ann enjoyed traveling to Ocean City Maryland, taking day trips to Lancaster with her husband and most of all caring for her home & family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Ewing, Sr., who passed in 2004, a daughter, Maryann Goodman, who passed in 2015, a grandson, David Puka Jr. who passed in 2012, a sister, Catherine Remm who died a s a child and a brother, Richard Remm who died as an infant. Ann is survived by her 3 children, Sandra (Dave) Puka, Linda (Danny) Murphy and Henry (Erika) Ewing Jr., a brother, Joseph Remm, her 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment, Mt.
