Obituary of Patricia Lynch

Patricia A. Lynch, age 76 of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 21, 2020 at Brandywine Nursing & Rehab Center. Born to Salvatore and Margaret Sill Gargano in Chester, PA, she has been a longtime resident of the Gardendale section of Upper Chichester. Patricia graduated from Notre Dame High School of Moylan, PA in 1961 and worked in medical billing. Devoted to her Catholic faith, she was a member of St. John Fisher's Church. Patricia enjoyed reading and trips to the beach. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Lynch, who passed in 2005, she is survived by her children, Maureen (Paul) Andrews, Robert (Cynthia) Close, and Courtney (Brian) Matarese, siblings; Tim Gargano and Nancy Gargano, and grandchildren; Kaitlin and Devon Andrews, Brielle and Brynn Close, and Benjamin and Logan Matarese. A Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 29 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave, Upper Chichester Township, PA 19061 followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30AM. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.act.alz.org/donate).
