Obituary of James J. Flicker

James J. Flicker, age 75 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on January 15, 2020 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born to Joseph and Katherine Clardy Flicker in Philadelphia, PA, he resided the past 24 years in Glen Mills, PA, previously residing in Yeadon, PA. Jim worked as the Director at the Federal Securities and Exchange in Philadelphia. He later was the Assistant Director for NASD retiring in 2006. Jim was a member at St. Cornelius Catholic Church. He also had many hobbies including, hunting, fishing, and taking walks. Jim was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he enjoyed summer vacations at the beach, however his passion was attending his grandchildren's sporting events. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Flicker. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy J, Cundey Flicker, 2 sons; Joseph (Lynn) Flicker and James J. (Kimberly) Flicker, and 4 grandchildren; Kelley, Matt, Wyatt, and Maya Flicker. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11AM. Interment, S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the (Heart & Vascular Program at Jefferson).
