I was thinking of Nick today to wish him a Happy Birthday! I worked at Land of Video from 1989 until they closed the last store in East Norriton. I was forever thankful to Nick for giving me a chance to work at what will always be in my top two jobs of all time. I lost touch after the stores closed but thought of him often. I didn't know he had passed away. Such a great person and lots of great memories. Very late condolences to his family and friends.

I've known you for over 30 years. Sad knowing now that you aren't a text/phone call away. My heart is sad. I had to find out myself when I wasn't hearing back from you. I always said you gotta leave my number with someone in case you need me. Didn't get to say goodbye. I'll picture you now with your loved ones in Heaven. I am sorry to learn of Nick's passing away. I spent the first nine years of my life as a friend and playmate of him in East Oak Lane/Germantown. His house was a few doors away from ours before we moved out of the city to Wyndmoor in 1948. While I was at Temple I was friends with a school sports reporter named Herm Rogel who worked at the Bulletin with Nick. During the years I have kept in touch with the old neighborhood and mutual friends, long after I moved west in the 60's. His parents and mine were friendly and I remember visiting them after they moved to Academy Gardens many years ago. Fond memories of Nick and his sister....May he find peace.

A wonderful man. Nick was a true gentleman. He always had a smile on his face. He was a man of few words, but when Nick spoke every word had meaning. Nick was always there for his friends. He was dependable and caring. Nick was a most valued executive board member of the PHEA for the last 15 years. Nick will be remembered as the light in the darkness guiding us home. Nick will be greatly missed.

Nick's family and my family were freindly as we grew up in Germantown. We shared many happy memories from our days at St. Benedict's school and many years with family and friends. Nick was a gentle soul, shy yet always there if you needed him. I remember with fondest his family and memories shared. Prayers and blessings for the happy repose of the soul of Nick. From our weekend horse racing calls at the crack of dawn at the Bulletin 40 years ago, to our many days and nights at Land of Video, I always enjoyed your company and friendship.
