Obituary of Gregory D. Palmer

Gregory D. Palmer, age 69 of Glen Mills, PA passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 12, 2019 at his residence. Born to Horace "Dale" and Phyllis DeGroot Palmer in Wichita, KS, he resided the past 28 years in the Concord, PA area, previously residing in Landsdowne. Gregory graduated from Penncrest High School, class of 1968 and went on to receive his Bachelors in Business Administration from LaSalle University in 1988. Gregory worked as an ISC Research Liaison at the University of Pennsylvania for over 20 years. He was a devoted member of Elam United Methodist where he served as a Liturgist. Gregory loved sailing with his wife and visiting their summer home in Bethany Bay. He enjoyed genealogy, history, and traveling. He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Judith M. Palmer, his children; Matthew (Erin) Palmer, Conor Palmer, and Rory Palmer, siblings; Larry Palmer, Mark Palmer, and Brenda Palmer, and granddaughter, Anabel Palmer. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 11AM at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd, Glen Mills. Interment will remain private.
