Obituary of Gwendolyn L. Sonoga

Gwen L. Sonoga, age 87 of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on October 5, 2019 at Rose Court, Glen Mills, PA. Born to Lee A. & Juanita Finley Slabaugh, she was raised and educated in Uniontown, PA. Gwen received her Nursing degree and was employed as an RN for various hospitals throughout her career. She was a member of St. John Episcopal Church in Glen Mills, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. who died in 2003 and 3 siblings, Robert & Larry Slabaugh & Kay Allison. She is survived by a daughter, Anne L. (Cindy Bookman) Sonoga and a sister, Lois Blair. Funeral services and interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Maris Grove Resident Care Fund, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
