Obituary of Barbara Wood

Barbara B. Wood, age 80 of Wilmington, DE died on December 23, 2017 at home. Born and raised in Trainer, PA, she has resided over 50 years in N. Wilmington, DE. A homemaker, Barbara was a lifetime member of Trainer United Methodist Church. She also belonged to the N.U.P.A. Ladies at NUR Shrine Temple and in her younger years she was active in the Girl Scouts. Barbara was active enjoying ceramics and cake making. She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Gladys O. Tyson Wright and 2 sisters, Gladys O. McCall and Ruth Mae Moss. Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years, Milton "Bud" O. Wood, 3 children, Karen (Thomas) St. John, Thomas Wood and John (Debbie) Wood, a brother, John T. Wright and 6 grandchildren, Daniel (Emily) Quintana, Jacquelyn (Daniel) Putman, Alexander (Courtney) Wood, Michael Wood, Julia Wood and Nathan Keller. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 1:00-2:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 2:00PM. Interment, private.
