Obituary of Geraldine M. Rotteveel

Geraldine M. Rotteveel, age 68, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine was a devoted wife and loving mother who will be sadly missed. She retired from the West Chester School District where she was the School Nurse. She also was devoted to her faith and a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Guman Stepsus, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius A. Rotteveel who died in 2002. Geraldine is survived by her children, Samantha (Michael) Cole, Cornelius (Jamie) Rotteveel and Nicholas (Virginia) Rotteveel and 5 grandchildren, Benjamin, Garrett, Lila, Celia and Charlotte. A visitation will be held on Friday from 8:45-9:45AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Geraldine's memory to St. Jude Children's Place, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
