Obituary of Alberta M. Hinchliffe

Alberta M. "Bertie" Hinchliffe, age 81, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on April 25, 2024 at Paoli Memorial Hospital. Born to George and Elsie Hawkins Hinchliffe in Chester, PA, she is a long-time resident of Glen Mills, PA. Bertie worked as a cook for Naamans Creek Country Manor Nursing Home for 30 years before retiring. Devoted to her faith, Bertie was a member of the Chichester Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, especially with her sisters at Booths Corner Farmers Market "The Sale" and going to Lancaster. She also enjoyed going out for lunch and dinner. In addition to her parents, Bertie is preceded in death by her siblings; James Hinchliffe, and Nancy Hickey and her companion, William Baldwin. Bertie is survived by her brother, Robert Hawkins Hinchliffe, sisters; Elsie Dunn, Vera Liott (James), Connie Richardson (Rocco), and Dorothy Stanton (Robert), plus 14 nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. An additional viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home followed by a Funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
