Obituary of Joseph S. Maher II

Joseph S. Maher II, age 48 of Trainer, PA passed away suddenly on March 31, 2024 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, Joe was a lifelong resident of Trainer, PA. He graduated from Chichester High School, Class of 1993, and later earned his Associate's degree from Neumann University. Joe was on the Trainer Recreation Board for many years and a Councilman for Trainer Borough for 11 years. He was instrumental in heading up the haunted hayride at the Henry Johnson Park in Trainer.  Trainer borough was his life and he enjoyed volunteering any time he could. Joe was a big Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, baking, and helping people. Joe is survived by his parents, Joseph S. and Marilyn A. Thomas Maher, brother, Greg (Anitra) Maher and sister, Nichole Hendricks, two nieces, Alexandria Maher and Gabrielle Maynes, two nephews, Cole Hendricks and Jacob Maher, his beloved dog, Brooksie, and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10th, 9:00 - 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM.
