Obituary of Frances T. Gaska

Frances T. Gaska, age 87 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on October 2, 2023 at home. Born to Peter and Frances Galaska in Wilmington, DE, Frances has resided in Garnet Valley since 2007 previously residing in Wilmington, DE. An Administrative Assistant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Delaware for 30 years, she retired in 2006. Devoted to her catholic faith, she is a member of St. Hedwig Church in Wilmington, DE. Frances enjoyed dogs and also raising them to be show dogs. Frances was always known as a caregiver, she was devoted to her husband, home and family. Frances was pro-education raising her daughter's to receive their advanced degrees from college. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Gaska who died in 2007 and a brother, John Galaska. Frances is survived by 2 daughters, Janice A. Gaska and her husband, Peter Harvison and Donna J. Gaska and 2 sisters, Sophia Siemek & Tessie Allen. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, from 10-11AM church at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 408 S. Harrison St, Wilmington, DE 19805 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Interment Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
