Obituary of Wayne Robert Minner

Wayne Robert Minner, age 77 of Bear, DE passed away on September 25, 2023 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Boothwyn, PA, Wayne was a longtime resident of Delaware. Wayne worked for Boeing where he was the lead technician on the V-22 Osprey, retiring in 2015. He graduated from Chichester High School, Class of 1963 and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, and was a past Fire Chief for Reliance Fire Company as well as holding other official offices in the Fire Co. He enjoyed shopping and yard work and loved to follow the Big Foot folklore. Wayne also had a love for Classic Corvettes and feral and domestic cats. In his earlier years he enjoyed spending time boating and fishing. Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Allen Minner Sr., mother, Betty Irene Morris, step father, Charles Morris and a sister, Sandra Mann. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Becky Pupich Minner, son, Gordon Bjorkman, 2 brothers, Ernie Jr. (Barb) Minner and Butch (Robin) Minner, nephew, Tyler Minner, 4 grandchildren, Gunnar, Carson, Trey and Torin. A visitation will be held on Monday evening 6-8PM & Tuesday morning 10-11AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. followed by Funeral Services at 11:00AM.
