Obituary of Michael J. Dellavecchio

Michael J. DellaVecchio, age 72 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on September 24, 2023 at Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center. Mike was born in Drexel Hill to Michael and Annamarie Facciolo DellaVecchio and was raised in Clifton Heights. Mike has resided in Glen Mills for the past 18 years, previously residing in West Chester, PA. During his high school years, Mike played football and also was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Mike later owned and operated is own Masonry Restoration company for many years before retiring. Mike was an avid Eagles and Flyers fan. He enjoyed summers in Sea Isle City, NJ and Ocean City Maryland where he boated and fished in the Chesapeake. He has a passion for visiting Key West, FL with his wife on numerous occasions. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brother, Louie DellaVecchio. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Katie Hurley DellaVecchio, 7 Children; Michael (Jen) DellaVecchio, David (Joanna) DellaVecchio, Chippy Moorhead, Katie (Steve) Haines, Mark DellaVecchio, Michelle DellaVecchio and Shannon (Harley) Welch, 6 grandchildren; Michael, Dylan, Olivia, Zachary, Austin, and Anthony, sister, Rose Ann Mistecka, mother-in-law, Marie Hassler, best friend, James (Christine) Guinan, numerous extended family, and his beloved dog Millie. A visitation for Mike will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10AM-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA 19060 followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM.
