Obituary of Cheryl Nancy Stumpf

Cheryl Nancy Stumpf, 49, of Boothwyn, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Cheryl was a person who wore many hats throughout her life. She was a daughter to Raymond (predeceased) and Joan Stumpf, a sister to Karen and her husband Rick Owen, and Edward Stumpf, an aunt to Ashley Owen and Raymond V. Stumpf, a great-aunt to Treyshonn, Jaiden, and Lanisa, a niece, a cousin, a camp counselor, a nurse, a friend, a lover of animals, a patient, and most of all a child of God. She loved reading, swimming, taking drives, watching movies, listening to and singing music, spending time with family and friends, being at work, going to the beach, being at home with Stu and Nellie, telling jokes and stories, playing games, baking, and so much more.

Cheryl grew up in Union, New Jersey. She graduated from Union High School and attended Maplewood Bible Chapel. Cheryl then went to and graduated from Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa. After that, she moved back home and graduated from Union County College and Muhlenberg Nursing School. She worked at Beth Israel Hospital for several years before deciding to move to Colorado Springs, CO. where she worked at Memorial Hospital of Colorado Springs. She then moved to Bear, Delaware where her nursing career continued at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington. Cheryl decided that this area would be home. First, she bought a house in Pennsville, NJ. But then bought her home in Boothwyn, PA, with her mother. Here, Cheryl attended Brandywine Bible Chapel. Most recently, Cheryl was a patient in Crozer-Chester Burn Trauma Unit where the staff took amazing care of her as she healed and was getting ready to come home. Little did we all know that God had other plans for her.

Cheryl's infectious smile, quick wit, silly expressions, and loving kindness will be remembered by all who met her. She will forever be in the hearts and minds of her family and friends. She was truly faithful. We can take comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven.

Services for Cheryl will be held at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening, June 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, July 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
