My prayers to the Barry Dowd family. Always enjoyed our conversations when we would meet at the district office.

Always a smile and a wave when he would drive by our house. Or sometimes stop to talk and block Paschall . Left this world way too soon, Rest In Peace Barry. Sending our thoughts and prayer to the family.

My deepest sympathy to the Dowd family. I worked many years with Barry at AGI and enjoyed our early morning talks. He always took care of the things that broke in my classroom and believe it or not never complained when replacing countless pencil sharpeners and shade chain mechanisms! I'll never forget the time when the battery on his lift began to run low and he got stuck halfway up in the centrum ceiling! We all got a good laugh out of it! You'll be missed Barry! Behave up there! Your friend, Wendy

Can't believe I will never again joke around with Barry. I enjoyed our daily morning banter and will greatly miss it. At least the time for heavy lifting is over. Rest in peace Barry!

Barry, you will truly be missed at AGIS. I want to thank you not only for your years of service to all of us at AGIS and throughout the school district, but also for being a friend. You had a heart of gold which earned you the nickname "Teddy-Bar", which we lovingly called you in the office. You cared deeply about all who entered the doors of our school each and every day. We've lost an Avon Grove treasure, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever. I feel so fortunate that our paths have crossed and we could share in so many laughs over the past few years. We miss you Barry!
Sincerely,
Jeff

Thoughts and prayers to the Dowd family. He was a good listener and I always knew where I could get a cold one. Even though we lost touch, I remembered our chats every trip down Paschall Mill. Deepest sympathies, Christine Gilbert (Doyle).

Barry, I will miss chatting with you in the morning when you dropped off the mail.
The picture of you with those turkeys is my favorite. You were so excited to run the mail with them. You will be missed.
