Obituary of Vincent J. Marmo
Vincent J. Marmo, Age 61, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at Chester County Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Taylor, PA, Vince has resided over 25 years in West Chester, previously residing in Old Forge, PA. He received his BS degree in Biology from the University of Scranton in 1987. He then went on to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He enjoyed his work as a cardiologist at Christiana Care and owned his own practice, Delaware Cardiology Care. Vince enjoyed watching the Phillies, 76ers, Eagles, and Penn State football with his family. He enjoyed spending summers at the beach in Avalon, NJ. Vince is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Carolee Fanti Marmo.
He is survived by three children, Tyler, Jennifer, and Brandon Marmo, their mother, Mary Jane Maurer-Marmo, two siblings, James Marmo and wife, Marlene Oviedo-Marmo, and Martha Marmo-Fernandes and husband, Carlos, his long-term partner, Rosalind Setting, and many nieces and nephews
A visitation will be held on Monday evening, 6 to 8 p.m., and again on Tuesday morning, 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will remain private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made Camphill Soltane, a nonprofit which provides opportunities for career development, creative skill building, fulfilling daily activities, and social enrichment for adults with disabilities.
