Obituary of Louis A. Farah
Louis A. Farah, age 83, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on August 26, 2026, at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Lou was raised in Lenni, PA, where he resided for most of his life before moving to the Foxfield development in Garnet Valley six years ago.
He graduated from St. James High School in 1961 and went on to attend St. Joseph's University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
Lou was employed by Boeing as an Industrial Engineer for 53 years, retiring in 2016.
He was known for his love of cars, especially his beloved '68 GTO, and enjoyed working on motors and swimming. He also cherished spending time with family and friends at his beach house in Wildwood, NJ. In his younger years, Lou was a member of the Lenni Fire Company.
Lou is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah L. Dolan Farah; his three children, Christy (Bryant) Shuford, Jenny Farah, and Anthony "A.J." (Cynthia) Farah; his brother, Joseph (Susan) Farah; and his grandson, Anthony Farah.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle, 4:30 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mass cards would be appreciated.
