Obituary of Juan Liang
Born and raised in Henan, China, Juan was the beloved daughter of the late Zhiyan Liang and Cuilian Li. She dedicated many years of her life to education and research as a Professor of Chemistry at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics. She was a leading researcher in the field of zeolite catalysis, and her inventions are instrumental in the production of building blocks for modern materials.
Outside work, Juan found great joy in traveling, singing, teaching, and spending time with family. She will be remembered for her tenacity, intellect, kindness, and commitment to family.
In addition to her parents, Juan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Xiexian Guo and her two brothers, Yongmao Liang, and Yongjian Liang. She is survived by her three children, Ipin (Jing Ye) Guo, Yifan (Li Li) Guo, and Yili (Ken Laughlin) Guo; her four grandchildren, Emily Guo, Vivian Guo, Alice Laughlin, and Annabelle Laughlin.
Juan’s family will receive guests for visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, 10:00-11:00am, followed by Family & Friends sharing at 11:00am at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA.
