Obituary of Jean Ferry Ross

Jean Ferry Ross passed on June 24, 2026 at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill at the age of 97. Jean was born and raised in Brookville, PA. For 23 years she taught the fourth grade at Scenic Hills Elementary School in Springfield, Delaware County. She was a Past Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star. Family and friends loved her home-baked cookies and pies. Jean wrote a rhyming verse for every occasion. She enjoyed helping others, playing dominoes and sharing swing era music with village residents.

Jean is survived by her children Kathleen, Samuel, and William, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill.
