Trevor Michael Lennartz, age 15, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2026. Trevor was a resident of Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania.
Trevor was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew him. Though only 15 years old, he touched countless hearts with his beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and the unmistakable joy he brought into the world. Though autistic and nonverbal, Trevor communicated in ways that reached far beyond words. He was a lively and loving presence among all who were fortunate enough to spend time with him. To have met Trevor was to love him.
Trevor was deeply cherished by his parents, Michael and Laura Lennartz, whose love for him was beyond measure. They lived for his smile and laughter, and Trevor, in turn, lived for the endless hugs, kisses, tickles, and squeezes from his parents, which helped fill his days with comfort and love. Trevor’s bond with his family was unbreakable.
He was also adored by his older siblings, Aidan and Kathleen (Kate), who showed their baby brother remarkable tenderness and compassion throughout his life. In a world where others might have struggled to understand his challenges, they met Trevor with kindness, grace, and good humor. His nannies, Gina Vitello and Jenn Marchetti, sisters and beloved members of his care circle, loved Trevor unconditionally and will forever remain part of the family. Gina, who cared for Trevor since birth, held a particularly special place in his life.
Trevor was supported and embraced by his school community at PAAL, Preparing Adolescents and Adults for Life, and previously at Devereaux CARES, both special programs for individuals with autism in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. He also received extraordinary support from ABA Centers of Pennsylvania, particularly Vicki and Ashley, and many others who will remain forever in our hearts. The dedication, positivity, and care shown to Trevor by his teachers, therapists, bus drivers, and community meant so much to him and his family.
Trevor is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Laura; his siblings, Aidan and Kate; his nannies, Gina and Jenn; his grandparents, Debra (his beloved Nana) and Ornan Carl, Frank and Mitzi Lennartz, and Thomas Cusick and Beverly Slichta-Cusick; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. We believe that Trevor is now in the care of Laura’s late mother, Kathleen Stephen Cusick, whom he had never met in this life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Trevor’s memory to be made to PAAL (paalprogram.org) (Preparing Adolescents and Adults for Life) . Online condolences may be made at www.paganofuneralhome.com
