Obituary of Bernadette M. Daly

Bernadette M. Daly, age 91, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on May 10, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Raised in Collingdale, Bernie was a resident of the Creekside Community in Upper Chichester for the past 15 years, previously residing in Sea Isle City, NJ., Florida and Aston, PA. Bernie graduated from Notre Dame H.S., Moylan in 1952. She was employed with Boeing as a secretary retiring in 1993.

Bernie was devoted to her Catholic faith and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she once served as a secretary. She was quite skilled and an accomplished seamstress. She had a passion for golf, and enjoyed the game with her husband and was also at one time, a member of Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, PA. In her free time, Bernie enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge.

In addition to her parents, Edward and Agnes Donnelly McGrath, Bernie is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Daly who died in 2020, a son, Thomas E. Daly who died in 2018, and 3 siblings, Ted McGrath, Mimi Maley, and Jim McGrath.

Bernie is survived by 4 children, Denise (Brian) Osifat, Michael Daly, Christine (Ron) Piselli and Joseph Daly, 6 grandchildren, Brian (Laura) Osifat, Leslie (Jonathan) Sutter, Michael Piselli, Ryan (Heidi) Piselli and Maria (Michael) Stanziale, and Conlan Daly, and 9 great grandchildren, Brian and Weston Osifat, Jonathan, Juliette, Cameron & Bennett Sutter, Olivia & Matthew Piselli and James Stanziale.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th from 9:30-10:30AM at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Interment, St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
