Obituary of Marilyn J. Campbell

Marilyn J. Campbell, age 79, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on May 3, 2026, at Arden Courts in Delaware.

Born in Chester, PA, and raised in Oxford, PA, and Ogden, PA, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Wilbert A. Davis and Jean E. Miles Davis. She was a longtime resident of Thornton, PA, with a winter residence in Peoria, AZ.

Marilyn worked for many years as an Administrator with Sunoco before retiring. A graduate of Chichester High School, she was a proud member of the Chi Chicks and the Red Hat Society. Marilyn was known for being very handy and enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining, and attending shows with the various groups, including spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George "Bud" Campbell, who passed away in 2006, and her brother, Thomas Davis, and his wife, Sally Appleton Davis.

She is survived by her two stepchildren, George Campbell III and Karen Angeline, her children Zach Angeline and his wife Gianna, and Erica Hicks and her husband Kyle. her brother, William Davis, and his wife, Lilian, and their children, Bryant Davis and his fiancée, Raven Chance, and children; and Samantha Davis and her children; her brother Tom's daughter, Heather, and her two children; her aunt, Dorothy Davis; her sister-in-law, Sally Bassett, and her children, and many cousins and extended family members.

A visitation for Marilyn will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment for both Marilyn and George Campbell will follow at Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery in Garnet Valley, PA.
