Obituary of Lawrence E. Sembrot

Lawrence E. Sembrot, age 78, of Glen Mills, PA, previously of the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

A graduate from North Catholic H.S. ('66'), Larry proudly served in the U.S. Marines. A talented painter, he retired from DC Labor Union #21 in Philadelphia. Larry was known by many for his meticulous painting skills and was responsible for painting over 100 homes in his Fox Hill Farm Community. Larry was proud of his success with AA as 28 years sober. He loved cooking and was known for his Russian Sugar Cookies.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Loretta Dolan, father of Christopher and Lauren Sembrot, brother of the late Maryann and the late Floyd Sembrot, and dear brother-in-law to Edward, Michael, Vincent & Fran Dolan and Maryann Daly.

Family, friends, and teammates of BVSS Softball League are invited to attend Larry's visitation on Wednesday, May 13, from 10-12 noon at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 12 noon.
