Obituary of Longin J. Skladanowski

Longin J. Skladanowski,"John" age 79, of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on April 30, 2026. Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, he was the son of the late Longin and Janina Dolegowska Skladanowski. In 1982, he settled in Marcus Hook after previously residing in Chester, Pennsylvania. John worked for many years as a mechanic, machinist and was known as a hardworking blue-collar man. He was a member of the Atglen Sportsmen's Club, and loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, working on cars, and driving them. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Stephanie Skladanowski; his three children, Lisa (Chris) Tonkinson, Tess (Chris) Rybak, and Steven Skladanowski; five grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Joshua, Jessica, and Tara; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Claire, Alina, and Aaron.
