It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Lillian Ruebeck Brady, at the age of 96. She was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Bertha Ruebeck. Born on October 4, 1929, in their home in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, she attended Claymont High School, where she met the love of her life and future husband, James (Jim) Brady III. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James J. Brady III; her son, James (Jimmy) J. Brady IV; her daughter, Maureen Brady Curry; two sisters, Gertrude (Trudy) McCaughan and Anna (Dale) Rose; as well as her three grandsons, Mark, Matt, and Jimmy; and her great-great-granddaughter, Ellisianna. Her dignified grace and strength during times of loss were a true reflection of her abiding faith in God and an inspiration to all who knew her.
