Obituary of Thomas D. Hartigan
Thomas Dennis Hartigan, of Upper Chichester, PA, formerly of Hamilton Square, NJ, passed away at his home on April 16, 2026. He was 77 years old.
He was born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Margaret Harris Hartigan. He graduated from West Catholic High School in South Philadelphia, going on to graduate from LaSalle University with a bachelor's degree and from the University of Massachusetts with a Master's degree in Labor Relations.

Tom and his wife Jean, were high school sweethearts and were married in 1971. They loved raising a family together, watching their children and grandchildren play sports, and going on family vacations to Disney World.
In his free time, Thomas loved to run, taking part in multiple marathons over the years. He enjoyed coaching youth soccer teams and watching Fulham F.C., his favorite soccer club. He also loved to travel and all things Irish!

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jean Hartigan, his children, Gretchen (Mike) Anderson, Jaime (Brice) Westring, Tom (Nicole) Hartigan, his grandchildren, Abbey, Mikayla, Aidan, and Ryan Anderson, and Caitlin and Casey Westring, and his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is predeceased by his brothers Joey and James Hartigan.
