Obituary of Lura K. Cloud

Lura K. Cloud, 77, of Chelsea, Bethel Township PA went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2026, at Chester County Hospital after a long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis . The daughter of Jack and Betty King, Lura was raised in the Chelsea area of Bethel Township where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Garnet Valley High School in 1966. Lura worked in many roles from a receptionist for Allstate insurance for over fifteen years to opening and operating a family business Atglen Spring Water. Her most cherished role was that of Tom's wife , Mom, Mom Mom and great grandmother where she devoted her time and love to all of her family. She especially enjoyed trips to the beach and spending peaceful moments by the water. In addition to her parents, Lura was preceded in death by her brother, Jack King. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Cloud; her two sons, Tom (Tara)Cloud Jr. and Jonathan Cloud; her five grandchildren, Ashleigh (Cody) Stryker , Casey Cloud, Amanda Cloud, Emily Cloud, and Michael along with her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Stryker. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
