Obituary of Marie J. Umile

Marie J. Umile, age 54 of Norwood, PA passed away on March 19,2026 at Pennsylvania Hospital. She was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia to her parents Richard Umile and Josephine A. Corsetti. Marie worked as a waitress for many years, also working as an EMT. She loved spending time in her garden, baking cookies during her treasured girls' weekends, and enjoying trips to the casino. She also cherished her beloved dog, Gia, whose visit to her in the ICU was granted as her last wish. More than anything, she loved her family and friends. Her kind and caring spirit touched so many lives, and she will be remembered as a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who meant so much to everyone who knew her.In addition to her father Richard Umile. Marie is preceded in death by her stepdad Thomas P. Koziol. She is survived by her son Andy Giordano, her mom Josephine Corsetti Koziol, 2 siblings Theresa (Tommy) Myers, and Richard Umile, her grandson Liam Giordano, her boyfriend James Radico, and her longtime best friend Rebekah Campbell. A visitation for Marie will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 11AM-1PM at Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A Funeral Liturgy will begin at 1PM. Interment, Private.
