Obituary of Lois Harner
Lois P. Harner, 92, peacefully left this world on March 9, 2026, to enter Heaven's glory and be with her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted member of God's family, confident that her name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Lois graduated from Boothwyn High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball and cheering on her classmates as a cheerleader. She later attended Goldey Beacom College and was employed by the DuPont Company.
Her greatest joy in life was being the beloved wife of Harry Harner for fifty-nine years and raising their family together. Lois treasured the many adventures she shared with her family, especially camping trips and attending countless sporting events to support her children and grandchildren. She also delighted in baking and decorating many beautiful specialty cakes for family and friends.
Lois was an active member of her high school group, the "Get-Together Girls," a circle of friends who faithfully met each month through the many seasons of their lives, sharing laughter, memories, and lasting friendship.
For thirty-five years, Lois made her home on Third Avenue in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. In later years, she and Harry lived in Florida and Maryland before eventually settling in Delaware.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, and her beloved husband, Harry. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Deb (Rich), Dan (Karen), and Dave (Margy); her seven grandchildren, Will (Sarah), Brian (Nadine), Becky (Shaun), Josh (Mia), Derek (Karica), Brooke (Mark), and Trent (Taylor); and her twenty-three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois's memory may be made to Delaware Hospice, 630 Churchmans Road, Suite 200, Newark, DE 19702. The compassionate care provided by those who served Lois during the past year was a great comfort to her and to her family. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com.
