Obituary of Guy E. Lyster

Guy E. Lyster, age 65, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 26, 2026. Born in Milmont Park, PA, Guy was a resident of Chadds Ford most of his life.

A graduate of Unionville High School, class of 1979, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Road-Con for 36 years retiring in 2024. Guy enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping or trips to the Jersey shore, he had a passion for them all. He also was known for his love of sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Eleanor (Acquarola) Lyster, and three brothers, his twin brother Gregg, Mark and Bruce. Guy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Terry Watson Lyster, 2 children, Travis (Krystin) Lyster and Tricia Lyster, four siblings, Karen Clary, Curt Lyster, Cheryl Lyster and Michele Wilson, a granddaughter, Sloane Lyster, and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his furry companions, Remi and Sadie.

A viewing for Guy will be held on Wednesday evening, March 4th from 5-7pm at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Guy's memory may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org (http://www.heart.org/)).
