Obituary of Eileen R. Kleinert

Eileen R. Kleinert, 89, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2026. Eileen was born in Philadelphia to the late William and Emma Tubbs Russell. She devoted many years to serving as a teacher's aide in the Garnet Valley School District, where she was affectionately known by her students as "Special K." She took great pride in supporting the children she worked with and formed lasting connections throughout her years in the schools. A faithful member of Siloam United Methodist Church, Eileen was deeply involved in her church community. She also enjoyed camping trips with her children, creating memories that her family will cherish. A social and outgoing person, she loved gathering with friends and neighbors, especially for a game of bocce ball. At Foxfield, she was an active member of her neighborhood community, always ready to participate and connect with others. Eileen is survived by her sons, Bill (Susan) Kleinert and Craig (Carolyn) Kleinert; her brother, Richard Russell; and her grandchildren, Mallory Kleinert, Bill (Angela) Kleinert Jr., and Craig (Allison) Kleinert Jr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Bud Russell, Marion King, Helen Hughes, and Harry Russell. She will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to her family and community, and the kindness she shared with those around her. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6-8:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Another visitation will be held Friday, March 6 from 10-11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will be at Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to Siloam United Methodist Church 3720 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060.
