Obituary of Bernadette Maureen Walter

Bernadette Maureen Walter, 53, of West Grove, PA, passed away on February 24, 2026, at Christiana Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland.

Born in Darby to Joseph and Donna Nicolai Walter, Bernadette was raised in Drexel Hill and graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1990. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and loving mother, taking great pride in raising her beloved children.

Bernadette found joy in crocheting, crafting, and gardening. She cherished time spent with her many pets and created a warm, welcoming home for those she loved.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Scott; her children, Jeremy Walter, Joshua Scott, Zachary Scott, Samantha Scott, and Ryan Scott; her sisters, Heather Jernegan and Kimberly (Charlie) Kruger; her mother-in-law, Laura Scott, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Donald Scott; her maternal grandparents, John and Lillian Nicolai; her paternal grandparents, Edwin and Lillian Walter; and her grandmother-in-law, Jane Scott.

Bernadette will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 6:00-7:30 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA.  A funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM.
