Obituary of Shirley Ann Stevens

Shirley Ann Stevens, of West Grove, PA, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, at Jenners Pond Nursing Facility. Born and raised in Chester, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late John Sr. and Czestowa Koziol Matwiejewicz. Shirley had resided in West Grove for the past five years and previously lived in Boothwyn, PA. Shirley dedicated many years of service as an X-Ray Technician at Springfield Hospital. She had a love for reading, creating scrapbooks, and baking, and she was well known for her sweet tooth. Above all, Shirley treasured the time she spent with her loving grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Eugene Stevens, who passed away in 2021. She is survived by her three children: Renee Giovan; Daniel Stevens; and Anthony Stevens and his wife, Katherin Schwab. She is also survived by her two brothers, John Matwiejewicz Jr. and his wife, Donna, and Francis Matwiejewicz and his wife, Gloria; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Bennett and Braden. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A Funeral Liturgy will begin at 10:30 AM.
