Obituary of Anna Marie Flanagan

Anna Marie Flanagan, age 90, passed away on February 13, 2026, at Glen Mills Senior Living.

Born at Delaware County Hospital, to the late Amato and Margaret Gaudioso Bicchetti, Anna Marie resided in Glen Mills for the past three years, previously living in Aston and Darby, Pennsylvania.

Anna Marie spent much of her career working in the accounting department at Boeing. She was a proud graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA. Deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, Anna Marie was a member of The Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington, Delaware, and a former member of St. Joseph Church in Aston and BVM Church in Darby, Pennsylvania.

Anna Marie shared many wonderful travels with her late husband, John Flanagan, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Flanagan, and siblings, Margaret "Babe" Stewart, Frank Bicchetti, and Phyllis Cassidy.

She is survived by her sister, Florence Bicchetti, her goddaughters, Trisha and Brenda, her sister-in-law, Rose Falls of Indiana, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Church of the Holy Child, 1250 Naamans Road. Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pa. A celebration of life will take place in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Church of the Holy Child.
