Ronald Tucker

Obituary of Ronald Breece Tucker

Ronald B. Tucker, 95, passed away on February 8, 2026, at Maris Grove Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA. Ron had spent over five years at Maris Grove.

Ron was born on August 29, 1930, to Gladys and Kirk Tucker. He had two older brothers, Arvid and Kenneth Tucker. He was born in Illinois, and the family later moved east to Maryland.

Ron enlisted in the Navy in 1949 and served for four years.

He married Anita Tucker in 1953 and began raising their family. Ron loved music, singing in the church choir, enjoying barbershop music and big band tunes. He was a long-time member of the Marlboro Lions Club and started his own real estate business. He eventually became one of the most respected real estate appraisers in Prince George's County, Maryland, and was later recruited to serve as a real estate tax court specialist for the state.

Ron loved traveling by motorhome and enjoyed many wonderful trips around the world with Anita. For the most part, he did whatever Anita wanted — he was a devoted husband and a great father. He cherished numerous beach and RV mini-vacations with his grandchildren and was always there to help with whatever his children needed: moving, landscaping, finishing basements, or anything else. Often, he volunteered before even being asked.

As the son of a tradesman, Ron provided countless services to family, neighbors, and friends — fixing nearly anything, helping with wildlife control, and lending a hand wherever needed. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him.

Later in life, he met his "partner in crime," Vanelle Williams, at Maris Grove. Together, they sometimes acted like teenagers as they pursued the contact sport of growing older. They complemented each other wonderfully. Vinell passed away in October 2025. She was a wonderful lady.

Ron is survived by his two children, Debbie (George Bryan) and Mark Tucker; two grandchildren, Kristen Ginev (Chris) and Travis Tucker; two great-grandchildren, Molly Ginev and Tucker Ginev; and his nieces, Sandra Tucker, Susan Sullivan (Michael), and Sherrie Wheeler.

Services will be held at a later date by the family.
