Obituary of Beverly Sue Moskowitz
Beverly Sue Moskowitz, age 82, of Claymont, Delaware, passed away on February 4, 2026, at AccentCare at Christiana.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Max Salzman and Nettie Liebowitz Salzman. Beverly resided in Claymont, Delaware, for many years.
Beverly co-founded Alyson's Restaurant in Wilmington, DE along with her then husband, Michael Moskowitz. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and spending time at her son & daughter-in-law's restaurant, Ashley's, in Chester Heights, PA. She always looked forward to spending time in Manteo, North Carolina visiting her son and daughter-in-law. Beverly was quite active, she enjoyed playing Mahjong with friends, and was an avid gardener, loved cooking for family gatherings and living at the B'nai B'rith House in Claymont, Delaware, she was known as the Social Planner.
Beverly is survived by her sons, William (Tracy) Moskowitz and Neil (Karen) Moskowitz; her sister, Rhoda Beckman; her grandchildren, Ashley (Jack) Diggory, Kyle Moskowitz, and Joshua Moskowitz; her niece, Beth Beckman (Todd); and her nephew, Andrew Beckman (Collette). She was predeceased by her beloved niece, Melissa Kashy, whom she cherished like a daughter.
