Obituary of Margaret M. Schweizer

Margaret M. "Peggy" Schweizer, age 96 of Hockessin, DE, died on January 24, 2026, at Christiana Hospital. Born to the late Robert K. and Margaret Kelly Marsh in Philadelphia, PA. From birth, Peggy was raised by her adopting uncle and aunt, the late William H. and Ethel Kelly Marsh in Lansdowne and Drexel Hill, PA. She resided for the last 10 years at The Summit in Hockessin, DE. Peggy previously resided in Springfield, PA, Media, PA, and Chadds Ford, PA, and she loved spending summers at her 2nd home in her beloved Ocean City, NJ. In 1956, Peggy married the love of her life, Alan E. Schweizer, who passed in 2018. She dedicated her life to raising her children and creating a loving home. She is survived by her sons, Alan E. Schweizer, Jr., and wife Robin of Landenberg, PA, and their children Kristin and Kyle Schweizer, and Scott Schweizer and Meredith of Anchorage, AK, and nephew, Bill (Helen) Schweizer and their children Katie and Sarah of Amherst, NH.
