Obituary of Eleanor M. Hall

Eleanor M. Hall, age 107, of Collegeville, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on January 21, 2026.

Born and raised in Grier City, PA, Eleanor later resided in Delaware for over 40 years before moving to Collegeville.

Eleanor worked for many years as a waitress before retiring. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching local teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as golf and tennis. She was an active member of "Endeavor" church in Elkton, MD for 53 years. A memorable highlight of her life was celebrating her 100th birthday with dinner alongside Governor Carney and Councilman David McBride.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick G. Hall Jr., who passed in 1969; her seven siblings; Nicholas (Mellisa) Kostella, grandson, and her great-grandson, Michael Pyle II.

She is survived by her four children: Marie (Nick) Kostella, Susan Pyle, David (Linda) Hall, and MaryJane (Ed) Shott; six grandchildren: Michael, Laurie, Erin, Andrew, Matthew (Heather), Chad (Jessica) and seven great-grandchildren.

Services for Eleanor will be held privately.
