Obituary of Mary Nickson
Mary "Sharleen" Nickson, age 75, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2026.
Born to Russell Bavis and Mary Elizabeth Jackson in Chester, PA, Sharleen resided in Upper Chichester for the past 45 years, previously living in Brookhaven, PA.
Sharleen worked as a Sales Administrator for Anthony and Sylvan Pools for 20 years. A graduate of Penn Crest High School, she was a longtime member of Chichester United Wesleyan Church. Sharleen enjoyed trips to Lake Garrison, music, cooking and singing, but above all she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "Honey."
In addition to her parents, Sharleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Nickson Jr. who died in 2020, and her son, Ryan Nickson, who died in 2011.
Sharleen is survived by her children: Michael (Colleen) Nickson, Kelly (Eric) Sharier, Siblings; Kathy (Bob) Martin, Linda Scone, John McNelly, and Carol (Harry) Nickson. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Eric Jr., Kacie, Gavin, Kourtney, Cooper, and Kadence, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her companion, Ron Turnier.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in Sharleen's memory may be made to Camp Can Do at (campcandoforever.org).
