Obituary of Donna R. DiSantis
Donna R. DiSantis, age 76, of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on December 27, 2025.
Donna was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, to her late parents, John and Edna (Gibbs) Staub. She resided in Brookhaven for the past 40 years, having previously lived in Chichester, Pennsylvania.
She was employed for almost 10 years as a machine operator at Scott Paper Company in Chester, where she met her husband, the late James DiSantis, who passed away on November 13, 2025. In July of this year, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Donna later worked in Guest Services at the Granite Run Mall and then as a bus aide for the Rose Tree Media School District, where she retired from in 2023. Donna was respected, admired and cherished by her colleagues and community members alike.
Donna truly enjoyed shopping on the Home Shopping Network and QVC, doing ceramics, and cooking. She also loved the cookouts and family picnics at Creekside Swim Club, Hidden Hollow Swim Club and Garrison Lake.
Donna will fondly be remembered for her outgoing and caring nature, and her compassion and love for her family. She also was a great listener and her life experiences provided her with tremendous wisdom as she frequently counseled her family and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Donna was preceded in death by her grandson, Vincent Carter Jr.; her great-niece, Kelli Hargadon; two sisters, Marilyn Hargadon and Barbara Dugan; and her brother, Bobby Staub.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Majka (Mike); three grandchildren, Alexia George, Payton Connelly, and Jake Majka; two nieces, Karen Daly (Tom) and Theresa Hawkins; two nephews, Joseph Hargadon (Annette) and Marty Hargadon (Jeff); as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members.
A viewing for Donna will be held on Monday, January 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania 19060. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Pennsylvania.
