Christopher, I am so sad to hear of this sad sad news. I remember we used to go to the meetings for work and get the free meals and hear about the efficacy of the meds. I am in tears my work friend from 20 years ago.

I hope that Chris is resting peacefully. He was such a bright light in many people's life. He was always lightening the mood, cracking jokes and making others smile. If anyone needed help with anything he was the self-identified "gopher" and he was always happy to be of assistance in any instance and to anybody. We will feel his absence deeply. Wishing for healing and support to all those who loved Chris.

Christopher was a beloved member of our Havertown team and an exceptional nurse practitioner who was highly dedicated to his patients. He touched hundreds of lives in his short time at Havertown, including those he worked with daily. His team is devastated from hearing of his passing as he made sure each person felt seen and acknowledged. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

From SHS to O'Hara, Chris was a constant reminder of a wonderful neighborhood friend. I loved catching up with him at our grade school reunions and hearing that laugh again. Forever remembering him getting us in trouble on the daily in Freshman algebra because I couldn't stop cracking up. Peace and love to his children and family. Lovingly, Patty Watts-Whalen

Chris was someone I had the privilege of supporting at work, and I truly cherished the time we spent together. He had a great sense of humor and always made others feel seen, caring more about everyone else than himself. I am still in shock over this loss.
Even in the short time we worked together, Chris left a lasting impact on my life. I affectionately called him the “office mayor” because he loved walking around, introducing himself, and offering help wherever he could. While he was learning the ropes, we protected him at all costs. My administrative staff feels this loss deeply, we were his biggest cheerleaders and will miss him greatly.
His office had a direct view of the suite door, and I will always remember walking in, seeing him turn, smile, and give a big wave as I was entering. That warmth, kindness, and humor is how I will always remember him.
Rest easy, my friend.

I’m shocked and saddened by the loss of my cousin Chris, growing up a Johnson in the Verica family was always a lot of fun for us as kids. Guess I’ll have to continue Chris’s story of how I ditched him on the boardwalk in Wildwood, as Chris would say, in reality I was never so scared coming back to the hotel without him, only to find him already there. Love you Chris, always.

Chris and I started on the same day in the Havertown office. Each morning, he would pop his head in to say good morning, or see if I realized it was him coming in the door. Always with a smile, and/or a joke. I will miss him asking me questions while I am on the phone trying to schedule one of his patients, just thinking about what will be missed, puts a small smile on my face knowing he made an impact and he will truly be missed.

Chris was a prescriber at my job for a few months. I’m on the admin side and throughout it all, Chris always showed his appreciation. Even though it was a few months, he created an amazing impact by being a friendliest, funniest guy you will ever meet. He was loved by us and always made sure to put a smile on our faces. We will miss you so much Chris.

Chris, I'm so glad you lived with me for two months. I'll miss your humor and smile and sharing the sushi you brought us on a Wednesday, which I learned from you that Wed is half-price day. Thank you for that. I've gone almost every Wednesday since. Thank you for sharing your sushi and the wonderful tip! I always think of you when I buy and eat it. Rest in peace, Buddy.

Chris was a beautiful human being and a good friend. We actually texted on Christmas and he wished me and my family a Merry Christmas. We shared our interest in meditation and Buddhism as well as living a grateful life in recovery. I will miss Chis and want his family and friends to know how glad I was to know him.
