Obituary of Joseph J. Keating Jr.

Joseph J. Keating age 70 of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 26, 2025 at Pike Creek Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born and raised in Chester, PA by his late parents, Joseph Sr. and Anne Marie McGowan Keating. Joseph previously resided in Chadds Ford,PA for many years, before residing in Claymont, DE and Wilmington, DE. He had a long career in Retail Sale as a Manager. Joseph enjoyed collecting albums, listening to music, Enjoyed walking, and reading. He is survived by his sister, Brenda Emperor, his nephew Jeremy Wood, 2 nieces; Jennifer Patek, and Yvonne Kron, 4 great nieces and nephews; Benjamin Franklin Patek, Kurt Vonnegut Patek, Chloe Keating Patek, and Sydney Imbesi Wood, his cousin Melissa McGowan, many other cousins, and his beloved Uncle Joseph McGowan and Arlene McGowan.
