Watz A. Klepacki, age 71, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2025. Born in Chester and raised in Linwood, PA, Watz spent most of his life in Linwood before moving to Delaware two and a half years ago.
A dedicated electrician, Watz worked for SEPTA Railroad for 26 years, retiring in 2022. Prior to his time with SEPTA, he was employed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. He was a proud graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1972.
Watz attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was previously a member of Holy Saviour Catholic Church in Linwood. A passionate sports fan, he loved cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles alongside other teams like Notre Dame, Penn State Volleyball, and supporting his family's love of soccer. He enjoyed going to the movies with his grandchildren, drawing and painting lighthouses, and was an amateur photographer in his time. Above all, Watz treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the joy of his life.
