Obituary of Helen R. Siegfried

Helen Rose Siegfried, age 73, of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born on December 28, 1951, to Michael and Helen Mitchell, Helen was a proud graduate of the Notre Dame High School Class of 1969. While she began her professional journey as a licensed cosmetologist, she eventually found her true calling in finance. For many years, Helen was a familiar and friendly face at Sharon Savings and Loan in Aston, where she served as Bank Manager. To her colleagues and customers, she was more than a banker; she was a trusted pillar of the community who greeted everyone with a genuine smile.

But beyond her career, Helen's true masterpiece was her family. She was a woman of rare warmth who made friendships with effortless grace. Known for her vibrant, infectious laugh and her "open-heart" policy, she was the first one on the dance floor and brought joy to every gathering. She lived for the "good times"—the family dinners, the shared stories, and the quiet moments of support that defined her as a wife, mother, and friend.

Her greatest joy, and the role she cherished most, was being a grandmother. Whether she was sharing a laugh or a life lesson, Helen's legacy lives on in the hearts of those she mentored and loved.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen Mitchell. Her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Richard Siegfried Jr.; her sister, Patricia Pope; her son, Daniel Stuart and his wife, Pascale; and her daughter, April Reading and her husband, Thomas. Her spirit and love of life will continue to shine through her beloved grandchildren, Addyson and Charlee, who were the absolute lights of her life.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd, from 10:00-11:00AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00AM. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
