Obituary of Stanley J. Wilush

Stanley J. Wilush, age 94, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on December 10, 2025, at Rose Court at Maris Grove.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Stanley spent the past 10 years as a resident of the Maris Grove community in Glen Mills, PA, after previously living in Bear, DE, for 35 years. He worked as an industrial engineer for 25 years with the Ronson Corporation and then the FMC Corporation.

He and his wife Mona, were founding members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Bear, DE. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, yard work, and spending time outdoors. A devoted Notre Dame football fan, he also loved spending time with his grandchildren and traveling the world with his wife. In his youth, Stanley was an exceptional hockey and baseball player and even earned a tryout with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Stella (Pelczarski) Wilush. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Mona K. (Hinder) Wilush; his children, Kimberleigh (Ken) Drier, Jeffrey (Diane) Wilush, and Stacy (Jose) Moreno; his grandchildren, Alexandra (Adrian), Michael (Alyssa), Jeffrey (Katie), Jenna (Ben), and Daniel (Grace); three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada.

A Memorial Serviced will be held on January 6, 2026 at 12:00 at the Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA. Interment will be held privately
