Obituary of Virginia Mae Groer

Virginia Mae Groer, age 84, a 50 year resident of Aston, PA, passed away on December 14th.

Born in Chester, she graduated from Ridley High School in 1959. Virginia was employed with Continental Bank for many years before her retirement. She had a passion for her cats, yard sales, clipping coupons, and shopping. She enjoyed time spent with her husband and their cottage in Elkton, MD.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Groer, who died in 2024, and a brother, Joseph Lykens. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Alfred Groer, and her nephews, Alfred (Audrey), Thomas (Jennifer), and Robert (Jennifer) Groer.
