Obituary of Georgia S. Muzyk

Georgia S. Muzyk, age 96, of Claymont, DE passed away peacefully on December 10th. Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Woodlyn, PA, Georgia was a longtime resident of Claymont, DE previously residing in Chester, PA.

During her school years, she played in the marching band. A homemaker, Georgia enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She enjoyed spending time at Delaware Park and playing the Horse Races. Georgia was known for her wit and great sense of humor, as well as her love of the Phillies. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Charles and Georgina Jones, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Muzyk who died in 1997, 2 children, John Muzyk and George Muzyk, 2 step-children, Walt Muzyk and Helen Jones and her companion of 25 years, Rocky Romano. Georgia is survived by her 2 children, Carol LeCates and husband Don and Robert Muzyk and wife June, 3 grandchildren, Sharon (Dave) Schultz, Don (Becky) LeCates III and Josh Muzyk and 3 great grandchildren, Samantha, Matt and Anna.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral service at 11AM. Interment, Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
