Obituary of James Robert Tims Jr.

James Robert "Jimmy" Tims, Jr., age 57, of Upper Chichester, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 20, 2025. He was the beloved son of Carole Tims (nee Lehman) and the late James Robert Tims, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, Jimmy was raised in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in 1985. Following graduation, he attended the IBEW, Local 98 apprenticeship program and went on to build a proud career as a master electrician. Jimmy has resided the past 15 years in Upper Chichester, PA.

Jimmy was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan, especially loyal to his Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. He also had a passion for target shooting. If you knew him, his generosity made the world brighter for everyone around him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Michelle (Patrick) Guinan; his brother, Michael (Rose) Tims; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Emma, Patrick, Allison, Ben, Kevin, and Michael. He is also survived by his dear dog, Daisy.

Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, followed immediately by his funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will remain private.
