Obituary of Theodore R. Anemone

Theodore "Teddy" R. Anemone, age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on November 18, 2025 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Trainer, PA, Teddy made Wilmington his home for the past 60 years. Teddy went to Trainer elementary school and then attended Ridley Park High School and graduated in 1954. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served our country until 1958 during the Korean Conflict. He spent many years of night school at Widener College where he eventually received his associate's degree and then his business degree. His job career was quite extensive. He worked at Atlantic Aviation and Boeing Aviation where he helped build Chinook helicopters. He also worked for 3M and Xerox. He was in real estate and sold cars. He was quite an accomplished contractor doing interior and exterior work. He also attended adult classes at University of Delaware annex taking numerous history classes. Teddy was active in the community throughout his life, he was a dedicated Scout Master and had been involved in scouting since his youth. He was quite an avid reader and enjoyed biking and spending time outdoors. He will dearly be missed by family and friends. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, Rosildo and Jennie Varone Anemone, and by his sister, Rosalie (late Anthony) DaVinci. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jacqueline Granger Anemone; his three children, Benjamin Varone Anemone, Anthony Russell (Bonnie) Anemone, and Christine (George) Anemone Keenan; his brother, Russell (Kathleen) Anemone; and his four cherished grandchildren, Kristin, AJ (Anthony Joseph), Vincent, and Julie. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th, from 10:30–11:30 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by Funeral Services at 11:30 AM.
