Obituary of Joseph P. Miller

Joseph P. Miller, age 90, of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.

 

Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, Joe was a resident of Upper Chichester for over 35 years. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania Military College (PMC, now Widener University) and went on to enjoy a long and successful career as a Production Manager with the Ford Motor Company as well as other companies before his retirement.

 

Joe was an avid bowler, achieving the rare perfect score of 300, and he remained active in several bowling leagues as well as an award winner in bowling at the Delaware County senior games over many years. He also found great joy in gardening and took special pleasure in feeding and watching the many birds that visited his backyard.

 

He was married to the love of his life, Johann "Joanne" Marie Miller, for fifty-seven wonderful years before her passing in 2020.

 

Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Miller; his daughter, Karen Miller;  his sister, Linda, and granddaughters Caroline, Jaclyn and Victoria.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Norma and Marian. Father Andrew and mother Anna

Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, November 19th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by his funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Lawn Croft Mausoleum, Linwood, PA.
